THE MISSIONS MINISTRY is once again seeking your assistance in blessing needy families here at The Sanctuary and in the community during this Thanksgiving season. In addition to requesting names of families in need, we are soliciting your support to help defray the cost of the food.

MILITARY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT
OUTREACH MINISTRY

Do you have an immediate relative deployed away from home for military duty? The Military and Law Enforcement Outreach Ministry is in the process of updating its deployment listing.  It is the ministry goal to maintain communication with our deployed members  In order for us to do continue this very important outreach effort, we are asking all Sanctuary family members that have a deployed immediate relative(s) to please contact Sister Annette Douglas or Minister Kavin Bobbitt at 301-333-9033.

MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS SUPPORT GROUP

If you have a family member with a mental illness, there is a new support group available for you at the Sanctuary.  Mental Health Matters Support Group and the National Alliance on Mental Illness have come together to provide a safe, confidential meeting where you can share your concerns and challenges with others who understand.

The group will meet every fourth Thursday of each month.
