PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS NOW FOR INAUGURAL BALL FESTIVITIES The Sanctuary is hosting a gala Inaugural Ball on Tuesday, January 20th at 7:00 pm.  There will be delicious food, live music by the Bobby Felder Orchestra, and a special inaugural souvenir for every attendee.  Get your tickets TODAY in the Logos Shop.  They are only $100.00 per person.  TODAY is the last day to pay by check.  This promises to be an outstanding affair which will be long remembered. 

NURSING HOME FELLOWSHIPS FOR DECEMBER TODAY at 2:30 pm the Hour of Love will be held at Washington Specialty Hospital, 700 Constitution Avenue, NE. Min. Eric Williams will deliver the Word.

At 3:00 pm. Sister Mildred Robinson will be sharing God’s Word at the Millennium of Forestville Nursing Center, located at 7420 Marlboro Pike. All are welcome.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE will be held Wednesday, December 24th at 6:00 pm.  This promises to be a wonderful service with participation from our young people, a candlelight processional by the children of Bible Babies Child Development Center, True Praise Dancers Ministry, choirs, and Sunday School. Come spend time seeing our children and choirs express the true meaning of Christmas.  Pastor Maclin will deliver the Christmas message. 

ANNUAL PASTOR’S CUP IS COMING Get your ministry volleyball and basketball teams ready!  Who will win the cup this year?  The tournament will be held on Saturday, December 27th at 9:00 am at the Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church gymnasium, 610 Largo Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774. The round robin play will continue until a winner is declared.  Start your fitness program now.  Submit your team rosters to Min. Roderick Parks by December 21st. 

ONE NIGHT WITH A KING Fathers, Brothers, Uncles, Godfathers, let’s take our kids out for a fun evening of dinner and bowling!!!! Sign up today!!!! See a representative from the Men’s Ministry in the sign-up hall after service.  We will dine at 5:00 pm at Nautilus Diner and bowl at 6:00 pm at Crofton Bowling Center, 2115 Priest Bridge Drive, Crofton, MD on Saturday, December 27th. The cost of $15.00 per person includes: 3-games, shoes, & transportation. (Dinner is on your own.) Payment is due upon signing up in order to reserve the proper amount of bowling lanes.  Buses depart at 4:00 pm from The Sanctuary parking lot.  Call Min. BE A PART OF THE SANCTUARY CHURCH AND BUSINESS PICTORIAL DIRECTORY Stop by the sign-up room following service TODAY and make an appointment to have you or your family photographed.  A sitting fee of $25.00 per family guarantees that you will receive a full-color 8x10 family portrait and a copy of the completed directory.  Sanctuary members who own businesses and community businesses can have their establishments featured in the directory by placing an advertisement. BRING IN THE NEW YEAR AT THE SANCTUARY during our New Year’s Eve Service on Wednesday, December 31st at 10:00 pm.  Thank the Lord for 2008 and praise Him for 2009 as He continues to bless all of us.  Each Member is asked to give a special offering of $20.09 for the New Year service. The True Praise Dancers will dance and all choirs will sing.  Pastor Anthony G. Maclin will preach a message which will encourage and edify us as we move into the New Year.  Start your year off with the Lord and you will see that 2009 will be your best year yet. 

MORNING GLORY PRAYER SERVICE will be held each first Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  Prayer warriors will gather in the Prayer Chapel area for an hour of corporate prayer.  This service will begin on Saturday, January 3rd at 9:00 am.  Everyone is invited to participate. 

NOON-DAY WORSHIP AND LORD’S SUPPER SERVICE will be held on Wednesday, January 7th at 12:00 Noon.  Pastor Anthony G. Maclin will be preaching and the Golden Agers Chorale will be singing. 

BAPTISM SERVICE will be held Wednesday, January 7th at 6:30 pm at the 9171 location.  Pastor Anthony G. Maclin will baptize and the Music Ministry will provide music.  Candidates for baptism will be notified by the proper Watchcare personnel. 

LORD’S SUPPER AND INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS will be held on Wednesday, January 7th at 7:00 pm. All ministry and church officers should be present for installation.  Our guest preacher will be Pastor Lawrence E. Aker III, Cornerstone Baptist Church, Brooklyn, N.Y. 

YOUNG PEOPLES DAY will be held on Sunday, January 11th during the 7:00 am and 10:00 am services.  Min. Anthony Holmes will be the preacher for the 7:00 am service and Min. Todd Gilmore of Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church will preach for the 10:00 am service.  All of our young people will participate and the Young People and Teen Choirs will sing.
